About J Pho
Located at 1020 Summit St, Elgin, IL 60120, J Pho operates as a vietnamese serving Elgin in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under restaurant, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Elgin, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (224) 238-7766. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, j-pho.weebly.com.

Great Vietnamese cuisine! Staff was very attentive and did their best to make our meal as comfortable as possible. As a Vietnamese, I can verify the food was exquisitely authentic, and upon request, the chef will customize your food to your liking. My usual order is the Pho ΔαΊ·c BiαΊΏt, and the bowl itself is chock full of flavor, and the noodles and meat are of superb quality. Tables and seats were mostly clean, and I was surprisingly impressed at the cleanliness of the bathroom, since other viet restaurants I've visited in the past have been lacking in that department. Small detail, but greatly appreciated. Service may be slow during busier hours, but it's busy for a reason! Overall experience was definitely worth the time, I eat here frequently now! Highly recommend.

The food here was absolutely AMAZING! My husband and daughter both had pho, which was so delicious I could've slurped the broth straight from the bowl. My vermicelli with grilled pork and egg roll was equally flavorful. If you like Vietnamese food, you'll love J Pho.

Good stuff. I have never had Pho before and I believe this was a decent first experience. We also got the bbq pork bowl which was reeeaaally good. It was so soft and had a delicious grilled flavor. The tapioca in the bubble tea was a bit soft but the flavor of the smoothie was nice and light.
